Steps

These steps will help you whitelist emails on Gmail, Apple Mail, and Outlook effectively! Any questions, feel free to ask!


Whitelisting Emails on Gmail

  1. Open Gmail: Go to your Gmail account and log in if prompted.

  2. Open an Email: Find an email from the sender you want to whitelist.

  3. Click on the More Options Menu: It looks like three vertical dots (⋮) next to the reply arrow.

  4. Select "Filter messages like this": This option helps you create a filter specifically for emails from this sender.

  5. Create Filter: A new window will pop up with the sender's email address already filled in. Click on "Create filter".

  6. Check "Never send it to Spam": Make sure this box is checked so that future emails from this sender are not marked as spam.

  7. Click "Create filter": Once done, click on the "Create filter" button to save your changes.


Whitelisting Emails on Apple Mail

  1. Open Apple Mail: Launch the Apple Mail application on your Mac.

  2. Find the Email: Locate an email from the sender you want to whitelist.

  3. Right-click or Control-click: Right-click on the email to open a dropdown menu.

  4. Choose "Add Sender to Contacts": Select this option to add the sender's email address to your contacts.

  5. Confirm: Click "Add" in the popup window to confirm adding the sender to your contacts.


Whitelisting Emails on Outlook

  1. Open Outlook: Launch the Outlook application on your computer.

  2. Find the Email: Locate an email from the sender you want to whitelist.

  3. Right-click the Email: Right-click on the email in your inbox.

  4. Select "Junk": Hover over "Junk" in the dropdown menu.

  5. Choose "Never Block Sender": Click on "Never Block Sender" to whitelist the sender.

  6. Confirm: A confirmation message will appear briefly at the top of the screen.
